Follow Twitter conversations with Tweetree

by Amit on December 30, 2008

Keeping track of conversations on Twitter can be really tough as the twitter users add @[username] tag and reply to a particular conversation and some times you feel lost when you get these replies as the conversation may been moved to a different topic or is confusing to interpret the conversations when you are working in different time zones.

Our life has been a bit easy with desktop twitter clients like TweetDeck that places the replies in a separate columns. I have used Quotably in the past to track twitter conversations but now Quotably has been officially closed.

So here comes Tweetree that tracks twitter conversations using your twitter login and Tweetree displays a threaded discussion (original post and the subsequent replies) so you don’t miss on to anything. Another impressive feature of Tweetree is that it also pulls in external content like twitpic photos, youtube videos and more, so that you can see them right in your stream without having to click through every link your friends post which saves a lot of time.
